Liselott Toresdotter is a trained artist who lives by her imagination and has her own way of interpreting the world around her. Her artistic journey began in childhood, as creativity became a necessary and natural expression of her inner world. Worth mentioning is that Toresdotter has been accepted into the spring exhibition of the well known art hall Liljevalchs, several times.
Liselott prefers painting animals over people, because she finds animals more fun than people. By depicting the behavior of animals, she can bring forward the comical and lively in their gestures and movements. Toresdotter often finds her inspiration in the hustle and bustle of the city – walking around town, riding the subway or visiting department stores gives her new ideas and images. In her head, there is full speed from morning to night of ideas waiting to be captured on canvas.
Join Toresdotter’s colourful and humorous performance, filled with animals in different situations. Oil on linen canvas in large format, gives a strong visual impression. A recurring theme is the circus, where the animals’ expressions and movements are in focus. Expect a joyful experience!
