… from year 2 of Geijerskolan’s course KONST – painting, drawing & sculpture who have worked with the theme ”On the inside”. The group, which itself consists of five very individual expressions, has together agreed on some common conditions to tie their exhibition together. A larger format, with the same dimensions, the same painting medium through work in acrylic, and the color burgundy were allowed to act as a common practical condition. The theme emerged during conversations and aesthetic-thematic exploration. Conversations about how we interpret expressions and symbols, and how the image can build mood in composition permeate the group’s work.
KONST – painting, drawing & sculpture is a basic preparatory art education, where you have the opportunity to develop and deepen your abilities to express yourself in a variety of art forms such as oil, watercolour, acrylic, drawing, design, ceramics, sculpture, graphic and textile printing techniques as well as classic artistic techniques in decorative painting. The education also includes theoretical subjects such as material science, art history, composition and image analysis. You can study here for 1 to 3 years. Read more about the course on the website.
