ART EXPERIENCES 2024
Containing more art experiences than ever, the Old Power Station – Gamla Kraftstationen- is inviting you to a dance where you decide the pace. We promise surprises, classics and quite a lot of wow-experiences! 2024 is the year when Gamla Kraftstationen is more musical than ever.
May 1 – September 29
ANN ARDEBRANT – the glass artist from Skattkärr (outside of Karlstad) who is inspired by Värmland’s nature and has a fondness for water, ice and the forests.
KILA DESIGN, CECILIA CLAESSON – the jewelry artist from Horred who gives new life to vintage porcelain, showing joy and positive nostalgia.
PUPPET, DANIEL BLOMQVIST – the artist who in his characteristic style paints force, freedom, history and memories with his completely unique Gridwalkers!
SYNNÖVE OREBJÖRK & ROBIN LINDSTRÖM – The stone sculptors from Värmskog who, through mythology and geology, give voice to what has been hidden, recreating balance and connection between man and nature.
TERÉSE CLASSON SUNDH – the art photographer from Kumla who explores fragments and messages from those who have gone before and those who walk next to us.
THERESA WIDJESKOG AHLMAN – the playful craftswoman from Karlstad who, inspired by graffiti, takes crocheting to greater heights.
TOM CURTIS – the digital artist from Buckinghamshire who brings children’s drawings to life through the creative Instagram hit THINGS I HAVE DRAWN.
TRYCKERIGATAN – ART & DESIGN – The individuality-based group who through recycling and imagination create unique experiences in the form of fabulous garden art.
TÄCKLEBO BRODERIAKADEMI (Täcklebo embroidery academy) – the skilled embroiderers from Värmland who embroider freely, without patterns but with a lot of joy.

DANIEL ENGSTRÖM – the artist from Forshaga who is rich in imagination and who loves the feeling of disappearing into the artistic flow.
DAVID TEDFELDT – the visual artist from Karlstad who paints freely and intuitively, letting his works unfold into telling different stories.
GALINA DAVYDTCHENKO – the artist from Stockholm who is in love with architectural landscapes and is inspired by abandoned places, houses and factories.
LENNART NILSSON – the nature surrealist from Hyltebruk who gives the viewer subtle illusion painting with a twist.
LOUISE WARNQVIST – the adventurous artist from Hammarö who sees color and shape as her language.
MATS NYMAN – the exploratory artist from Karlsborg who imaginatively pushes the boundaries in 3D works and digital graphics.

DR CRIX – the masked artist from Hagfors who is inspired by cartoons and bad jokes and is constantly bombarded by new creative ideas.
JONAS BERNANDER – the courageous artist from Stockholm who, through AI-produced art, examines reality versus fiction.
RAWSCULPTOR, KRISTIAN SAAPUNKI – the sculptor from Gothenburg who imaginatively shapes life and its desires in scrap metal and clay.
