Carolina Levén is a self-taught artist from Karlstad with a passion for flowers, coffee, cats and travel. Her artistic expression is deeply rooted in the impressions she collects during her travels, where she has been fascinated by the beauty of nature, with its magical color palettes and unique shapes.
With acrylic paint as her primary medium, Levén creates vibrant and expressive works, often in large formats and with strong colors. Recently, she has also deepened her artistic expression by exploring a more monochrome style, where light and shadow interact to create an almost dreamlike atmosphere.
Levén is inspired by flowers, colors, travel, meetings and music. Whether she works with the soft shapes of flowers or with her characteristic ”ladies”, there is often a depth of emotion and reflection in her art.
