Mia Jansson
July 5 – July 31 2025
The artistic raku ceramicist from Molkom who spreads joy and positive energy through her works.
Mia Jansson is a ceramicist and artist from Molkom, known for her joyful and vibrant style. Jansson has been inspired by chaos and stress and the art, the clay and the unpredictable raku burning contribute to a meditative creation, but also excitement and aha-experiences. Curiosity about the unexpected and an aspiration to create something beautiful and lasting is also a driving force in the creative process.
A hallmark for Jansson has become the unique Nöjdingarna; Happy, dashing raku burnt ceramic horses as a symbol of warmth and positive energy. Each Nöjding is unique and shaped with love from Jansson’s hands. Spreading joy and feelings of happiness to the outside world is a big part of her artistry. Jansson says that she has received great feedback from viewers and buyers who simply express that they are happy with the Nöjdingarna.
Experience the joyful Nöjdingarna, larger model, in Jansson’s exhibition! Different firing techniques and varying colors and surfaces. A new feature this year is the so-called Dopamine-Nöjdingarna in cheerful and bright colors.
