Zumreta Pozders is an artist from Gothenburg whose artistic journey began early in childhood. Any experience became a source of inspiration that she then transformed into her creative work. Her fascination with color and form without limitations has been a subject of joy, and by listening inward to her own creativity, Pozder has found her artistic freedom.
Pozder’s visual language is primarily influenced by naïve storytelling and different art styles. She draws inspiration from early modernism, beautiful residential environments, building styles, music, literature and film. She paints mostly with acrylics, but sometimes also with oil. She strives to produce works that are not only visual, but also convey a sense of time and place. The details and colors are tangible, and there is much to discover in each painting.
Pozder describes that her paintings often are about moments of happiness and that, just like poetry, her work will capture you as a viewer into a moment of pleasure.
